Coach: Duncan Swezey -2nd year as girls head coach, Coached the boys for 8 years prior to that
Assistant coaches: Gabby Stitz (played at West Chester) , Jennifer Forcey (Penn State) , Rachel Filson (HH alum)
Last year’s record: 10-2 SOL, 16-3 overall, lost to Springfield (Delco) in the second round of the district tournament.
Notable losses: Hannah Vogel (now at Millersville)
Key reeturners: Caroline Hagan -D (Sr-will play at St Joes) Lizzy Carr- Mid (Sr-Drexel) Nicole Beck-A (Sr-Cal Berkley) Cortney Daley-C- (Sr-Louisville), Julie Mckay M/A (Sr American Univ) ,
Others to watch: Rachel Rauza Soph-M, Jane Henri-Soph-D, Maria Guerra –Soph D, Jackie Giovinnazzo JR - G
Strengths: We have a heavy senior-led team with five D-1 commits; high expectations leads to intensity both on and off the field. It takes 12 players to step on the field and an entire team to work hard at practice to focus on a common goal. We will still have a lot of young players on the field away from the starting seniors. Team chemistry will dictate how successful we become.
Outlook: Team goals are high. We lost in the early rounds of districts last year, so, of course, our goals are to win the conference first and then focus on one game at a time on a journey that carries the girls to the home of kisses.
