Assistant coaches: Greg Kroll Assistant Varsity and Tina Baker JV Coach
Last year’s record: League Record 10-0 Overall Record14-4 (before playoffs -lost our first game) We won the Freedom Division
Notable losses: Lost 6 senior starters including 4 All League Players -two who are continuing to play in college
Key returners: Returning All-League Players: Sophomore Attacker Emma Liebert, Junior Attacker Shannon Mahon, Junior Defender Agnes Kroll, and Junior Keeper Mariah Gazzara
Others to watch: We have a strong Freshman class that will include a few who will contribute on the Varsity team.
Strengths/Question Marks: “We need to see if our young players can step into the vacuum left by a strong senior class last year. This does feel like one of our deepest teams that we have had. However, we already have a number of injuries to start off our season. Can we get some consistency while we are already having to juggle players to fill gaps?
Outlook: “I am excited about the challenge in front of the girls. We have had a choppy pre-season due to limited field time because of the heat. I was impressed with this group's flexibility and willingness to adjust. We have spent time reading about and working on building a Positive Culture. The girls are buying into this culture. We have a really tough schedule this season, so we will be tested early and often. I believe that the culture we are building coupled with really hard work by the girls will lead to a lot of success.”
