NESHAMINY BOYS’ SOCCER PREVIEW
Coach: Tom Foley (1st Year)
Assistant coaches: Jim McCourt & Mike Cochran
Last year’s record: 9-4-1 in the League, 11-6-1 Overall
Notable losses: Sean Sheridan—Villanova & Rich Schaefer—West Chester
Key returners: Austin Transue (Sr. forward), Nick Tucci (Jr. MF), & Dave Scheafer (Sr. MF/D), Chris Watson (Jr, GK)
Others to watch: John Blickle (Sr. MF), Bobby Lutz (Jr. F/MF), Reynaldo Bonilla (Sr. F), Pat Raykovitz (Jr. D), Jamen Rowan (So. D) & Devlin Mettee (So. D)
Strengths/Question Marks: Team speed and hard working are our strengths.
Youth and inexperience leads to a lot of questions.
Outlook: “Being a young and inexperienced team, we hope to overcome some early growing pains and be competitive in the league. Finishing in the top half of the difficult SOL National and qualifying for districts would be our goals. We will look to our most experienced players, Nick Tucci and Austin Transue, to lead us offensively.”
GAMES TO WATCH: All the games in the SOL National are highly competitive.
