Outlook:
“Our expectation for the season is to focus on one match, one set, one point at a time, and to get better every day. These girls are exceptionally disciplined, passionate, and focused on what’s in front of them. They play the game with a perfect balance of all-out heart and intelligent style. Our experience and intensity comes from our three-year starters Brooke Diegel (Libero) and Jess O’Donnell (MH), and two-year starter Ally Warhola (OH). Our Middle Hitter Alicia Kucey is just one of several JV players who put in countless hours in the off season to prepare for the Varsity level. There are 11 girls on Varsity, all of whom are fighting for a starting spot. This level of internal competition has elevated our practices and brought to the surface a collective team hunger to win.”
Fun fact:
“Our team is quite fond of ridiculous spandex and bright t-shirts.”
