Coach:  Rich Campbell (1st year)

Assistant coach:  Rod Vaughan

Last year’s record:  8-6 SOL, second in American Conference, 8-9-1 overall

Notable losses:  Brandon Iorio (3B/P – Chestnut Hill), Bob Altierri (CF Delaware Valley), Evan Grimes (SS/P – Lackawanna Junior College), Jim Perna (2B)

Key returners:  Vincent Catagnus (Sr., OF/P), JT Vaughan (Sr., P), Dave Randolph (Sr., OF), Chris Curll (Sr., C), Harry Falco (Sr., SS)

Others to watch:  Alec Proietto (Jr., P), Tom Detweiler (Soph., 3B), Reggie Collins (Soph., SS/3B), Andy Faunce (Jr., P/OF), Tom Piccari (Jr., 2B)

Strengths:  Up-the-middle Defense, Top two starters

Questions marks:  Bench, Offense

Outlook:  “Our goal is to win our division, get in districts and take our chances. We have a solid senior core with good up-the-middle defense and good arms in the outfield. How quickly our 11th and 10th grade players adjust to varsity level speed will determine how successful we will be at reaching our goals.”

Games to watch:  Upper Dublin, Plymouth Whitemarsh, Wissahickon, Cheltenham, Upper Moreland. They are the similar size schools and the perennial strong teams we must beat.
