Strengths/Question Marks: “A strong Junior core that has been playing together since freshman year with good senior leadership. Freshman and Sophomore classes have also given new energy and competition to the team to push each other to continue improving. The team plays strong defense and looks for opportunities to possess the ball and create chances through the run of play. Maddy scored 18 goals for us last season, so we need to find ways as a team to make up for that loss of scoring, and I believe we have a bunch of players eager for that chance.”
Outlook: “We made it to the postseason last year for back-to-back seasons for the first time in close to 20 years. The team is looking to continue that streak but also advance further. We know we have one of the hardest divisions and leagues out there so anticipate really competitive games that will help our team figure out what is necessary in order to take each other to that next level. Many of the players on this team have been together now for three seasons and we are hoping that chemistry and familiarity with each other will help translate to positive results on the field. “
