Assistant Coaches: Shannon McCracken, Bryan Eppinger, Matt Sokol, Jon Kandrick (Volunteer)
Last year’s record: 8-6 SOL, 13-8 overall, Lost in the District One playoffs to OJ Roberts for the 5th and final state playoff berth.
Notable Losses: Taylor Marchozzi (Seton Hill 3rd base) – Stephanie Kulp ( Millersville outfield & pitcher) and Kellianna Bradstreet ( West Chester not playing softball).
Key Returners: Jess Mower (Senior), Lauren Hess (Senior), Michelle Holweger( JR.), Jenn Halcovage (JR.), Hannah Sheehan (JR), Erin Maher (Soph.), Vicky Tumasz (Soph.)
Other to Watch: Alexa Gable (JR.), Michelle Rauch ( Soph.) Rebecca Christoffers (FR)
Strengths: With the return of Jess Mower and Vicky Tumasz to form a good battery and the hitting of Michelle Holweger, Erin Maher and Michelle Rauch, the team should be very competitive in a very good conference.
Question Marks: The team has been preaching “Just Play - No Drama”. Can they achieve that goal?
Outlook: We have a lot of young talent with a tremendous amount of energy. They all have a passion for the game and a desire to play as a team. Hopefully that will lead to a winning season and a district and state playoff berth.
