Outlook:
“With a good number of starters on both sides of the ball, expectations will be higher this year for the Rams. The entire offensive backfield and most of the line is back from a year ago, so the outlook is positive. Kyle Peters returns for his second year under center, and he has 1,000 yard rusher Jesse Knepp returning also. Defensively, two-time defensive MVP Brandon Cope returns at middle linebacker. The offensive and defensive fronts are bigger and stronger than recent years. If the Rams can avoid key injuries and get off to a good start, they could have a big year.”
