PENNRIDGE WRESTLING PREVIEW

 

Coach: Brian Kuhns, first year

 

Assistant coaches: Sam Walter, Nate Brown, Brent Koch, Ed Kracz, Andrew Reinhold, Jake Franklin, Christian Cooper, Christian Perrine 

 

Last year's record: 4-5 (overall), 3-3 (SOL)

 

Notable losses: Nate Manuola, Marquez Brockington, Luke Wahlers

 

Key returners:

Sam Kuhns (So. 132)), 16-4 & State Qualifier at 113 last year;

Cole Coffin (So. 113, 120).), 12-4 & 5th at Regional 1t 106 last year

Ryan Gallagher (So., 172), 10-6 & Regional Qualifier at 152 last year

 

Others to watch: Colby Martinelli (Fr., 106), Talan Hogan (Fr., 160), Riley Cullen (Jr., 189).

 

Outlook: “Pennridge is excited for the season.  We have great numbers this year and we are still very young with only two seniors on the roster.  The three freshmen wrestlers from last year that had a solid post-season run return this year ready to make the next leap and we added two very talented freshman this season.  The team has worked hard in the offseason and is looking forward to an exciting season.”
