PENNSBURY FIELD HOCKEY PREVIEW
Coach: Jamie Parell (5)
Assistant coaches: Shannon MacPherson
Last year’s record: 8:7:3 (overall), 7:5:2 (league), 4th place finish which I thought was notable since we were such young team. Although we didn’t advance far in playoffs it was still a great feat to get there with young talent.
Notable losses: Katie Denshaw - defense
Key returners:
Sarah & Emily Zazzu – senior forwards, Emily Kumpf – senior back, Marguerite Salamone – junior mid, Missy Frankil – Junior mid, Haley Toadvine – Senior forward
Strengths: Many returning starters in addition to a very talented group of incoming players.
Outlook: “Potential is always a great outlook this early, but with my comment above, it looks to be an exciting year.”
