Key returners: Maggie Burns and Ava Jordan (seniors), Emily Panaro (junior) and Sammie Haws(sophomore) return from last year’s varsity.
Question marks: “The Falcons graduated seven seniors and must replace 90 percent of their scoring and rebounding. Their leading returning scorer, rebounder and assist player, sophomore Joley Holman, suffered season ending knee injury in the summer so the potential for playing time is wide open. At times, Pennsbury will feature lineups of three or four freshmen on the floor at once, and it is a very exciting group of newcomers.”
Outlook: “The goal is to get better every day as every single player is in a new role for the first time, so navigating a difficult schedule will help expedite growth. As always, the expectation and hope is to keep playing until St. Patrick’s Day and maintain the tradition of Pennsbury Basketball.”
