PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH GIRLS’ SOCCER PREVIEW

 

Head coach:  T.J. DeLucia (1st year Head Coach, 5 previous years as Varsity Assistant)

 

Assistant coaches:  Ryan Kirby 6th year, Rich Madel 1st year, Crissy Terraces 1st year, Toni Washington 1st year

 

Last year’s record:  3-6-1
 

Notable losses:  Gabby Cooper, Leah Kaye, Natalie Lannie, Bella McNew, Devon Skiles
 

Key returners: Fiona Gooneratne (12/midfielder), Caitlin Dinh (10, Goalie), Kate Yocom (11, Defense/Midfield), Angelina Balcer (11, Midfield), Lauren Ianniello (11/Defense)

Outlook:  “We lost 11 seniors (eight starters) from last year’s team so this season, we will field a young, inexperienced but talented team. They are hungry to put their stamp on the Plymouth Whitemarsh Girls Soccer program. We know there are no easy games in the SOL – Liberty Division but we welcome that challenge.”
