Key returners: Senior Captain Alfred Garvey (2nd team all-league), junior Evan Beaty (2nd team all-league), senior John Fritz, junior Zak Glaser (Honorable Mention), and senior Matt Minetola
Others to watch: Sophomore Carter Field, sophomore Dave Pontari, junior Dom Aprile and junior Corey Stasak.
Outlook: “The Colonials have five returning golfers who were members of the 2010 league championship team. With only three seniors, Coach Wadlin is looking to have many of his young student-athletes ‘step-up’ for another run against favorites, Wissahickon and Upper Dublin this fall.”
Fun fact: “PW has won the last four SOL American Conference league titles (5 of the last 6). Other than Zach Pogust, the last PW golfer to go to states was Logan Terry (Temple University 2006’) in 2001. Former PW golfers won their club championships this past summer. They are James Braunsberg, (Blue Bell CC) and Rob Bass (Sandy Run CC).”
