PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH SOFTBALL PREVIEW

  • Dana Moyer: 8th year head coach
  • Assistant coach: Jen Hannold
  • Last Year’s Record: (SOL) 7-7 (Overall) 8-8
  • Key Loss: Ragan Ebersole (C/IF/OF)
  • Key Returnees: Senior: Lauren Fuhrmeister (IF) Juniors: Kayla Yeager (P/OF), Josee Tassoni (C/OF),Jen Byrne (IF/OF), Peyton Baldwin (IF), Emma Carney (OF), Allison Beausoleil (P/IF), Gianna Fazio (C/IF). Sophomore: Kamryn Kropinski (IF).
  • Others to Watch: Emily Caffrey (IF/OF), Regan Gehman (OF), and Carly Rosenberger (IF/OF) – all of whom attack the ball and are versatile athletes.
  • Strengths:  “Especially with the weather we’ve had, I’m grateful that we have a core group of players returning who know the defensive sets and offensive approach. Knowing that these girls can play a number of different positions is also comforting.”
  • Question Marks:  “Like many teams, we haven’t had a lot of time outside because of the weather, so I’m not exactly sure which girls will be playing which positions, but the beauty of that is that we do have options.”
  • Outlook:  “I’m extremely excited about this season. All of our girls are great athletes who work extremely hard to improve every facet of their game. I have amazing coaching support and a fantastic group of girls; I can’t wait for the weather to turn and to start our season!”
