QUAKERTOWN BASEBALL PREVIEW
Coach: Jon Pallone 9th year
Assistant coaches: Bob Gallo, Bob Helm, Gerry Meyle, Jake Wooden, Juan Soto, and Anthony Rostick
Last year’s record: 11–10 overall (9-6 League) Lost in District Playoffs
Notable losses: Justin Butler (Lehigh), Trevor Hurst (Chestnut Hill), Anthony Rostick, Jack Qualteria (Valley Forge U)
Key returners: Brandon Pierce (12/C), Vinny Pellegrini (11/P-1B), Peyton Kochel (12/2B), Ethan Beil (OF/12), Ty Everitt (12/INF)
Others to watch: Thomas Kozlusky (12/OF-1B), Danny Qualteria (10/SS), Daniel Schwalm (10/P-INF-OF), Cooper Natisin (10/P-1B-OF), Chris Parrillo (11/P)
Strengths/Question Marks: Quakertown returns a lot of experience to the lineup but needs to make improvements from last year to continue to grow as a program.
Outlook: “The team will compete in every game. There is a strong amount of young pitching anchored by returning starter Vinny Pellegrini. Brandon Pierce and Ty Everitt will lead an experienced lineup. Three talented sophomores will likely find their way in the lineup at some point during the year (Qualteria, Natisin, and Schwalm).”
