Strength/Question marks: “I believe our experience is a strength as players understand the speed of the game and conditioning that is needed. One area that needs attention: getting off the ball on both sides.”
Outlook: “Last year was very tough, but these players benefitted greatly from it. They worked very hard in the offseason, and we are far ahead of last year at this point, both physically and mentally with what we have in on O and D.
“I am very upbeat that we can and will score this year. We struggled with being young and injuries last year, and that is not the case this year. Our staff has done a tremendous job in the offseason preparing the O and implementing it.
“The goal is to win games and build confidence early in the year and continue that through our conference schedule. One major goal is to make the playoffs this year.”
