Outlook:  “This year’s Vikings squad returns several key members of last year’s squad that lost seven games in which they were leading or down by a run in the seventh inning or later.   The entire middle of the Viking order returns as seniors: Troy Thomas (SS), Alex DelGiudice (C), and Andrew DelGiudice (2B/CF), look to anchor the offensive attack.  Jarrett Quinn returns following a very solid sophomore campaign to anchor the Vikings rotation, posting a 2.66 ERA last year.  Following last year’s several late inning disappointments, this year’s squad hopes to compete for a playoff spot and the league title.  The Vikings are prepared to step up to the challenge of returning to AAAA and hope to play in the post-season.  As always, the division is incredibly competitive and has several excellent teams.”
