Last year’s record:  8-4 SOL, 11-6 overall, lost in first round of districts to Pope John Paul

Notable losses:  Melissa Kulp (SS), Bianca DeLuca (OF)

Key returners:  Jenny Desimone (Sr., Catcher); Krysta Wellington (Sr., 1B); Nicole Battaglio (Sr., 3B); Caitlin Milke (Sr., OF); Nicole Priest (Sr., OF)

Others to watch:  Maddalana Ghanayem (Soph., SS); Nicky Ross (Soph., Pitcher); Sarah Schouder (Jr., OF); Erica Davis (Jr., 2B)

Strengths:  Strong core group of starters from last year’s team

Outlook:  We have a very good team with a great attitude. Our team went 11-5 last year, and we think the team should be even better this year. We would like to make a run at the league title and make the AAA playoffs.
