Outlook:  “Last year Upper Moreland was shut out nine times and only scored 13 goals; in our first scrimmage this year, the forwards and midfielders worked very well together.  If they continue to work together, we should be able to get more production from them offensively.  We are fortunate to have junior goalkeeper Saige Wenik return for her third year.  Saige will need to step up and lead her defense and midfielders, two of whom are brand new to the backfield.  Overall, the girls are working hard and doing whatever they can to improve their skills and knowledge of the game. 

“As the season continues, we aim to get better with each game.  We hope that with positive attitudes and a good work ethic we can improve our game and improve upon last year’s record.”

Fun fact:  “Of the 33 girls on our team, 15 are brand new to the sport or to high school play!”
