UPPER MORELAND GIRLS’ LACROSSE PREVIEW

Coach:  Pam Remmey 2^nd year (after hiatus for 12 years)

Assistant coaches:  Aaron Lynch, Deanna Giorno (CB South, Univ of Scranton)

Last year’s record:  8-9 Overall, 2-7 SOL

Key returners:  Melissa Felicetti – senior defense/midfield, Delaney Smith junior midfield, Veronica Baez- senior midfield , Sydney Bachmayer – 10^th - attack, Mel Wittick 10^th – defense, Maura O’Leary- 11^th midfield defense

Others to watch:  Jess Flanagan – 9^th attack

Strengths – several strong returning players

Question marks - tough league! Only won two games in the league last year, so need to step it up to be competitive this season

Outlook:  “This is the coach’s second season back, and the team has done a substantial amount of work in the offseason to improve.  The team will definitely be more competitive this year, but new players, role players and key players need to step it up for the team to achieve success.”
