WILLIAM TENNENT GIRLS’ SOCCER PREVIEW

Coach:  Bill Hontz 4th Year

Assistant coaches: Elise Jara, Al Tocci, Kim Conicelli and John Lalana

Last year’s record:  7-10 overall, 4-8 SOL

Notable losses:  Ciara McFeely, Liz Layer

Key returners:  Caroline Weir-F 12, Gabby Sowers-M 12, Caitlin Somerville-M 12, Jackie Kubala-M 12, Chelsea Meltzer-F 12, Lyndsay Mulholland-D 12, Sarah Hart-D 11 and Sydney Moss-K 11.

Others to watch:  “We have a very strong influx of freshmen that will push the team in the right direction.  Probably one of the deepest teams we have had in a while and we hope to build on last year's record.  This would have been a great year to push into the playoffs with a deep run with the talent that we have.  I’m excited that we are playing this year with all that is going on and excited about this current team and what it can accomplish.”
