Strengths: This year our strength will be in our pitching and team unity. We return four pitchers that threw a significant amount of innings last season and two of them are only juniors. We also return three of our four starting infielders and three outfielders that platooned and played significant innings last season. Our guys have done an outstanding job in the off-season of working hard, building team unity and bringing along some of the younger players that we will depend upon to be successful this season.
Question Marks: We have some holes to fill at a few defensive positions and guys are competing hard to get into the lineup. Some of our junior pitchers will need to develop quickly for us and possibly a sophomore or freshman. Competition and execution have been the name of the game again this year.
Outlook: We hope that our competitive internal team atmosphere and the high level of work that was put in during the off-season and the first few weeks will put us in contention to win an American Conference Championship and play in the District I Playoffs.
