WISSAHICKON FIELD HOCKEY PREVIEW

Coach: Hannah Havrilla – 1st year as Head Coach of Wissahickon High School girls’ field hockey team

Assistant coaches: Bella D’Alessandro and Jayne Spivak

Last year’s record: 13-4-1 overall; made it to the second round of playoffs, won playback vs. Springfield Delco, then lost to Radnor.

Postseason Honors:
First Team All-League – Riley Ball (Sr.), Kayla Mullin (Sr.), Camilla Lutte (Fr.)
Second Team All-League – Audrey Walsh (Sr.), Noelle Koop (Sr.), Carly Lehman (Jr.)
Player of the Year – Camilla Lutte (Fr.)

Notable losses: Seniors Riley Ball, Kayla Mullin, Noelle Koop, and Camilla Lutte. Kayla Mullin will play collegiately at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).

Outlook: “We are ready to compete in the challenging Suburban One League Liberty Conference. We are entering the season with confidence after a strong summer of preparation. We are excited to welcome young players who bring positive attitudes and determination, while our returning players provide leadership and experience. Our goal this season is to qualify for districts and continue building on the strong tradition established by previous coaches at Wissahickon.”
