WISSAHICKON GIRLS’ BASKETBALL PREVIEW

Coach:  Rodney Cline (2nd year)

Last year’s record:  2-12 SOL, 6-16 overall

Notable losses:  Kim Schwemmer

Seniors: Dominique Earland (F), Meredith Byrne (F), Rachel Stone (PG), Kian Wright (SF), Sierra Eskridge (F), Alex Comonitski (G)

Juniors: Jess Steitz (G), Donyea Tate (G), Bridget Sweeney (G)

Freshmen: Daria Earland (G)

Strengths: Work Ethic, Depth, Size, Strength, and Senior leadership

Question marks:  Capitalizing on the opportunities that we create offensively and defensively on a consistent basis.

Outlook:  This year’s Wissahickon girls’ basketball team is senior driven.  These girls have been playing together in various leagues for five years.  Their work ethic and desire to be successful is exciting to be around.  Our goal is to get better every day.  If we can do that, everything else will take care of itself.
