Despite scoring six runs in the first inning and collecting 12 hits in the game, the visiting Hatboro-Horsham Hatters lost a 10-9 nonleague game to the Central Bucks South Titans on Monday.

The Hatters put up six runs in the first inning when the first six hitters of the game reached base and all six scored. The Hatters offense was led by sophomore SS Jake Bianchini who was 3-3 with a double, 2 RBI, a run scored and a walk. Sophomore 1B Anthony Bruno was 2-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored. Junior 2B Josh Heebner was 2-5 with a run scored and a walk. Senior catcher Matt Johnson was 2-5 with a run scored.

Freshmen Jimmy Tooley got the start for the Hatters and he allowed 3 runs, 2 earned over 2 1/3 innings pitched. Senior Kevin Fleischut allowed 2 runs, 1 earned over 2 2/3 innings pitched. Senior Matt Brown absorbed the loss going the final 4 2/3 innings pitched and allowing 5 runs, 1 earned.

The Hatters (4-9 Overall, 4-5 SOL American) will host the Quakertown Panthers on Tuesday.
