The Hatters rode a strong pitching performance from senior David Brown to a 7-1 win over the defending state champion, North Penn Knights. Brown pitched 5 strong innings allowing just 3 hits in earning the win. Erik Kleidon pitched a scoreless 6th inning and Eric Lane allowed just 1 unearned run in the 7th to seal the win for the Hatters.

Junior centerfielder, Alex Kleidon, led the offense, going 2-3 with 2 RBI and a sac fly. Joe Simmons was 2-4 with 2 runs scored and an RBI. Juniors Eric Lane and Kevin Barron scored twice.

Senior catcher Eric Thomas was terrific behind the plate and collected 2 RBI on the day.

The Hatters (5-3 Overall, 3-2 SOL Continental) will travel to Quakertown on Wednesday.
