As a coach there’s always some concern after a big emotional win that you’re going to have a let down next game.  Especially when it’s less than 24 hours later.  We told the girls before the game that the great win from yesterday doesn’t mean as much if you can’t back it up today.  

I think to an extent it did effect us early.  We didn’t come out with quite the same energy, and weren’t as sharp offensively or defensively.  We were settling for too many outside shots, and when they weren’t dropping we started getting frustrated.  Defensively we seemed a step behind and had some miscommunications, which left girls open.  To their credit they knocked them down.  

The second half we picked up our defensive pressure and were able to hold them to 7 total points.  Offensively, we started to move the ball better and got some wide open looks.  It was a great way to end a great week.
