This is the type of early season game that you can grow from. In my opinion Cheltenham is the team to beat in our conference. They have experience, good size and strong guard play. Unfortunately for us we only scored 4 points in the 3rd quarter and that ended up being the difference in the game.
In the 3rd quarter two things happened, Jiah Price imposed her will and Cheltenham did a nice job taking us out of our rhythm. We anticipated what they would do, but we just cannot simulate their pressure in practice and by they time we settled in, we were 9 points down to start the 4th.

To our girls credit, we battled back and got it down to four and then had a couple of turnovers and we were not able to overcome that.
Coach Boykins has them playing well and we're looking forward to playing them again later in the season.
