The better team won tonight. Going back to last season, I've always thought that the have the most complete roster in our conference and that is showing this season. You have to give credit to Coach Mo and her staff. Their girls are buying in to what she's saying and the results are showing up on the court. Top to bottom they are very well balanced.
Unfortunately for us, tonight we played as a group of individuals. Offensively we were flat and defensively our rotations were non-existent. We told the girls after the game that we were not connected on either end of the floor and we cannot beat a team like Cheltenham playing as five individuals. On Friday we play a Springfield team that is playing well and we cannot play like we did tonight. Tonight's the first game this season where we've been disappointed with our effort and by our body language after the game, I think the girls would say the same thing. I'm confident that in tomorrow's practice the girls will be competitive and focused and we'll get back on track.
