New Hope - Solebury Comments
The game was a lot closer then the score indicated. We were up only 7 points at half. We had a nice third quarter shooting run. 3 plus players scored double figures, Reagan Chrencik-19 points, Madi Fasti 14 points and Emily Wilson ended up with 11 points, Emily Wilson had 8 points in 3rd quarter,
Our captains lead the way tonight.. Reagan went 10 for 11 from the line.
Coach P- I loved how aggressive Reagan was going to the basketball, drew fouls and hit her foul shots. Madi had 4 threes and shot the ball well in second half.
Special shout out to freshman Ella Dudick. Emma Ives usually starts and Ella got the call. Ella plated a very good game. Tonight. Hit some shots and plated good defense. Sophomore Grace Fitzgerald played a great game off the bench. We needed Ella and Grace to step up with the absense of Emma and they did. Great experience for them. I have a lot of respect for Coach Becker and his team plays hard and gave us fits the first half.

Going into the game, we knew it would be tough. We've been struggling on the offensive end and Steve's teams are always disciplined and don't beat themselves. Going into the 3rd quarter we were only down 7 and I thought that we could pull it out. Then they got hot and had four different girls hit three's in the third quarter. Overall New Hope made 10 3's, seven in the 2nd half. They have a great leader in Reagan Crencik (sp??) and some nice surrounding players.
On our end, I thought that for the most part the girls executed, we just couldn't finish the plays. The message after the game to the girls was that we are doing a lot of things well and I think that we're close to getting the results that we want.
For LM, our leading scorer was Briana McFerran. In addition to her 12 points, she was aggressive and showed a lot of poise for a freshman.
