Lainey Allen had 10 of her game high 15 points in the first quarter to lead the Colonials to the dominant win. Allen finished with a stat line of 15 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals and 1 block. Everyone on the team had outstanding contributions. Erin Daley had 9 points, 5 steals, and 4 rebounds. Abby Sharpe had 9 points to go with 3 steals and 2 rebounds. Highlighting the night was Rhianna Gooneratne scoring her first varsity points off and assist from her sister, Fiona Gooneratne. The younger finishing with 6 points. Defensively, the Colonials held the Lady Hatter top three of Shegogue, Hall, and Thomas without a field goal through the first three quarters; for the game PW held HH to 3 made field goals. The tough defense was led by four year starters Jordyn Thomas and Kaitlyn Flanagan. Plymouth Whitemarsh plays at Upper Dublin next Tuesday night.
