Jordyn Thomas had a spectacular game on both ends scoring 14 points and grabbing 7 rebounds. Team effort to hold Haverford standout Caroline Dotsey scoreless in the second half. Kaitlyn Flanagan had 4 points and 5 assists, huge one to Abby Sharpe in the 4th quarter to give PW a lead in the 4th quarter. Erin Daley had to overcome early foul trouble to score 4 of her 6 points in the 4th quarter. Team was 8-8 from foul line in the fourth quarter. PW faced serious adversity after losing all-conference center Lainey Allen to a knee injury in the third quarter (did not return). Senior Fiona Gooneratne came in and played outstanding defense in Allen’s absence. PW advances to the District final 4 for the third consecutive season, 4th time in past 6 years.
