Tonight was a night to celebrate our amazing seniors and we were able to do that as well as secure another league victory. Allie, Alyssa, Eliza, EmmyFaith and Zoe have all had different paths and roles up to this point but they have all been important to our team’s success. You won’t find 5 nicer, more selfless kids out there. They work hard, do what they’re asked, and root really hard for their teammates. It’s a pleasure coaching all of them, some of which started in AAU (Fencor) when they were in 6th grade. The game itself was a grind as Lower Moreland kept battling to the end. McFerran, who wasn’t here the first time we played, had a really good game and wouldn’t miss in the 4th. We couldn’t get comfortable late and they played a big part in that. Coach Becker always has his girls playing no matter the score and tonight was no different. We have some things we have to clean up and Lower Moreland really helped us realize that.
