Great way to start the season. Whenever you play a Rustin team you know you’re going to get a physical battle. They came out hot and led for the majority of the first frame; but we were able to get our feet under us and end the first with a 1 point lead. Scarlet Baumgardner really got us going with 8 of her game high 16 in the first quarter. Emily Ladley was able to get hot in the second with a pair of 3’s, a fg, and 2 free throws.

Peyton Cramer did a great job controlling the pace of the game. She knew when to push and when to settle things down. Her 4 fts in the 4th kept the lead after Scarlett hit a huge 3 to retake the lead.

Erica madden and Janelle Blokker did a great job on Kraft and Betchyk. Both were pesky on the ball and gave great energy.
