“We did some things well tonight, I thought we mixed some things up defensively and got out in transition. We dictated the pace and when we have done that it has worked out well for us. I think the girls did a good job closing the half on a nice run that kind of gave us a nice advantage. We forced over 20 TOs in the first half which was good and we took care of the ball. We need to take better advantage of converting in transition and at the rim. That was the one take away. The other was just crisper execution in half court offense. I thought our team defense was good, we can be a little more physical and control the glass a little better but overall the girls were very active and disciplined defensively. We need a similar type effort against Truman tomorrow.”
