This is either the 9th time we've played Tennent since we've been in Suburban One and it seems like every time we play them, the games are always tight and this was no exception. We were fortunate to walk out of there with an overtime win. Nikki Sahl and Dani Brusha both got into early trouble and that really impated our perimeter defense and Avery Kocur, who was great for them tonight, was able to take advantage of that and scored 29 points including a late 3 pointer that tied the game.

Despite not have good practices leading up to the game and playing unfocused at times, our girls showed up in overtime. Dani fouled out with over 2 minutes left in regulation so I was happy to see that we found a way to pull out the win. Mady Rossiter converted an "and-1" off of the tap and set the tone for us in overtime. This was her first game back since the 2nd game of the year and she scored 6 of our 8 overtime points.
Emma DiJoseph is continuing to get back into form, after missing the last 2 games with injury, she scored 13 points for us tonight and Bri McFerran continues to be a force on offense and defense for us.
This first game after the break is usually sloppy, we'll need to be sharper next week when we play Upper Moreland, PW and Renaissance Academy.
