The girls race was a no contest because neither school had 5 runners, but the girls that ran did very, very well. The Upper Moreland trio of Morgan Fuller (sr.), Melody McDonough (soph) and Aniya Whitfield (sr.) all ran season bests. All dropping at least a minute of their previous bests.

The guys race was a close contest. Upper Moreland pulled out a 24-31. Springfield took the top spot but freshmen Christian Feil and Brady Saunders took second and third while sophomores Levi Brennan and Nick Ley grabbed 4th and 5th. The top 4 were all within 15-20 seconds of each other. Senior Ian Kiernan grabbed the 5th scoring place and securing the win with an awesome kick to pass 2 Springfield runners at the line. Senior Kieran Coll dropped 3 minutes off of his previous season best.

"We told the kids that today's race was not about times but about going out and racing. Every single one of the kids went out and raced. They showed heart and determination and pushed themselves.
