Souderton Comments
With the opening of the new Souderton High School next fall, Tuesday's tri-meet against Hatboro-Horsham and CB West marked the last meet to be competed on the current Souderton home cross-country course, and what a last meet it was. The combination of good weather, a large crowd, and the high powered competition led 11 girls to break the 20 minute mark, the most ever in a tri-meet. Souderton senior Becky Kratz led the Indian attack finishing second in 19:03 ending her home career with the six fastest times for a Souderton runner. Senior Kelsey Cameron was the second Souderton finisher in ninth place in 19:43.
