Today's game was Abington's Senior game, which saw us recognize our 6 seniors, Sophia Afflisio, Isabelle Franklin, Natalie Neumann, Rory Trainer, Ellie Stelacio, and Caitlin Murcar.

The game was evenly matched and saw both teams play hard and all out until the end of overtime, where the score still stood as 0-0.

Junior forwards, Maeve Link, Janice Coonahan, and Brooke Dougherty contributed heavily offensively, in moving the ball up the field and getting shots on goal. George School's goalie and defense was very consistent and tough and were able to hold off any offensive threats from Abington.

Junior mids, Carly Hughes and Danika D'Angelo, made a lot of key plays in the midfield to help keep the ball up in the circle for Abington. They showed great hustle in getting down the field to make some key defensive stops, as well.

Senior defensive back, Sophia Afflisio, and sophomore defensive center, Morgan Gillette, played a key role in helping prevent The George School from getting many offensive opportunities or goals.

Senior goalkeeper, Caitlin Murcar, recorded the shutout for Abington.

Today was a really fun game with a very talented George School team! Both teams played hard for all of regulation, as well as the 10 minute overtime. We could of not asked for a better team or opponent to give us a great game for our senior day then the George School. I feel our whole team contributed today and left everything on the field.
