It was a great game from both sides. We were so proud of both teams sportsmanship, composure, and hustle in such a close game. It felt like we spent more time in our offensive circle but weren’t able to convert to score. Our midfielders had some great passing motions to get it up the field and our defense really stepped up and had a few key stops from Maddie Slavin and Emma Brown. Caitlin Murcur held strong in goal during overtime to keep it tied and Olivia Dougherty broke up a corner on defense during OT as well. It’s exciting to see the team come together and support each other on the field in a high intensity game. We knew we had to reinforce that this game was up for grabs after our loss at Quakertown and each and every one of our girls showed up to play and had each other’s backs!
