It was a tough loss today. Both teams were pretty much evenly matched but WCHenderson was able to capitalize on their penalties corners. I so proud of this team as WCH scored first and we bounced back with a late 1st quarter goal to tie it up going into the 2nd. Unfortunately WCH was able to put 3 in the net going into half and we were unable to recover. We never gave up though and fought to the end. This team defied all odds this year and it was such a great group of girls. We are going to miss our seniors Camryn Stewart, Maddie Slavin, Emma Brown, Erica Devlin and Nina VanEkelenberg but also looking forward to next season.
