About winning league:
From the first game to now, the team has really improved— the girls should be proud of how they have worked together throughout the year and have come together as a team. It was a difficult schedule this year, we have had our ups and downs, but we have continually bounced backed, regrouped, and have learned from our mistakes. We have done some really good things this year, which has gotten us to this point, and now we need to continue to build off of those positives for districts. Throughout the season, seniors Colette Schardt, Megan Hollenbaugh, Michelle Baradziej, and goalie Riley Wert have done a nice job leading on and off the field. Avery McGinty has played consistently strong and has done a nice job leading as well. Olivia Roscoe , Mia Martin, Morgan Shaltens and freshmen Kasey Rieger and Ava Arbakov have all stepped up throughout the season. As a whole, this season has been a total team effort with different players stepping up when needed— over the next few days at practice, we will continue to work hard as a team and focus on the positives from the season to help prepare for Monday.
