The opportunities were there for us today- it was just all about capitalizing. Everyone on the field was hungry, and that heart was what really won it for us. We had a 20 to 9 advantage in shots, but credit to the post, Neshaminy's defense, and their goalkeeper for keeping us out of the cage as much as they did. The spark for us really came after Grace Gidwani saved a stroke in the fourth quarter. When you see your goalie make a beautiful stick save like that- it gives all the inspiration a team needs to win. The winning goal came just a little over a minute into the fourth quarter when Paige Keller sent a ball in and it was beautifully tipped in by Alli Troth. We're excited to carry this momentum with us back into conference play next week.
