Hatboro's goalie and defense had a strong performance despite the score of the game. CB South's offense was only able to score 1 goal in the 1st quarter and the score at halftime was 3-0. Hatboro never gave up and never stopped playing hard. Their corner defense was very strong.
CB South got on the scoreboard when Erin Smith (Sam Thomas assist) had the first of her 3 goals for the day. Her second goal came in the 2nd quarter on a feed from Anna Shirley. Towards the end of the quarter Megan Reilly scored on an Anna Shirley assist to allow the Titans to go up 3-0 at the half. In the 3rd quarter Julia Cooper fired a rocket into the cage and less than 5 minutes later Kailey Sarrasin put in a ball on an assist from Sarah Cooper. In Period 4 Megan Reilly (Erin Smith assist) scored her second goal followed by three quick goals by Bella Schute (Sarah Cooper assist), Erin Smith (Ella Hyde assist), and Anna Shirley (unassisted.) Rachel Madden, Ella Hyde, Styler Gannon and Kailey Sarrasin played well today. Congrats to both teams on a good game.
