CB South and North Penn played a tough game with CB South's Anna Shirley (Julia Cooper assist) capitalizing on corner play and Erin Smith (Rebecca Zakrzewski assist) capitalizing on a scramble in front of the goal. CB South's sophomore GK, Emma Kraft, had a fantastic day in goal turning away all 6 North Penn shots to earn the shutout.
Pat Toner: North Penn is very talented and well-coached. Their players are always both technically and tactically sound. I find them to be relentless on offense and defense and I am glad we were able to capitalize on our chances. Congrats to both teams on a well-played game.
