Notes: North Penn played to the final whistle against a tough CB South today and came up big scoring the winning goal with 3 seconds remaining in regulation. Eleni Kountroubis made a final push and put back a rebound to close out the win for the Knights. Erin O'Donnell scored the first goal in the first quarter off of a rebound following a Knights corner. The team put together a full 60 minute effort and worked hard the last few days at practice to improve upon last week.

CB South and North Penn played a hard-fought, back and forth game today. North Penn scored in the first period on a goal by Erin O'Donnell. CB South scored the equalizer in the second period when Sophia Wasyliw passed a perfect feed to Alyssa Endrick who put the ball in the back of the cage. Both teams had opportunities to score throughout the game, but both defenses held up. North Penn drew a lot of corners with the most important coming with less than 30 seconds remaining in the game. Eleni K. scored the game winner on a nice corner shot with 3 seconds remaining.
Although we are all disappointed in the loss, each game allows us to find our strengths and weakness and make corrections. We are hoping to eliminate some unforced errors and will work on that in preparation for our next game. North Penn is always well-coached and played very well today. Congrats to both teams on a good game!
