After winning three intense games against CB West, CB East and North Penn, I was concerned that we might have a let down and we did. In our league it does not matter what your record is, as anyone is capable of beating anyone else. Pennridge played very strong defense especially on corners and did a good job of beating us to 50/50 balls. Despite having 19 corners and 12 shots on goal, we were only able to score one goal on a beautiful Erin Smith pass to Anna Shirley who tipped it in. Our corners were not productive tonight due to a combination of our own miscues and Pennridge's nice job defending. Any loss can show you your weaknesses and I think we will learn from our mistakes tonight. Congrats to Pennridge on a hard fought win.
