Coaches Note:
Tonight's game, played at CBW, was the Bucks' last regular season game and their senior night. Before the game, Coach Ginny told her seniors they're staying in unless they ask for a sub. They went on to play an hour of beautiful hockey. The Bucks played for each other and anyone in the stands could see it- they were connecting passes and supporting each other across the field. It was a wonderful way to end the season. The seniors, accompanied by two underclassmen Julia Bunch (So.) and Julia Laurie (Jr.), left it all out on the field tonight. Casey Reichwein, Keeley Boell, & Darien Bandison showed great hustle and aggression on D; Julia Bunch & Julia Laurie created so many offensive opportunities the whole game; Kristen Rice, Lauren Hahn, & Anya DeAngelis had great runs and stepped up to the ball; Amanda McDermott and Caitlin Mulligan persisted in the circle and generated a lot of offense. Our GK Cassidy Pitts was an incredible anchor for this team all season long. The Bucks were hungry tonight, and their hard work all season paid off. The coaches are mighty proud of their team's improvement and tenacity this season.
