The Lions found their offense today in a 6-0 win against Cheltenham. We moved the ball and kept the offensive pressure going throughout the game. We’ve been working on some positioning and changing some things with our offense and the girls have been great with their flexibility and willingness to try new things. Seniors Kylie Hopkins started off the scoring followed by Zoe Karros who also had an assist. Junior Liz Neeld had 2 goals and an assist and Meredith Lutter rounded out the scoring with the final 2 goals and an assist . Jess Shein, Jess Pachman, and Bri Rocha each contributed with an assist. On the defensive end, goalie Sarah Rosala had 4 saves with Jess Shein and Meredith Lutter each getting a defensive save to help the Lady Lions. Our entire group of 20 saw playing time and helped contribute to this win today. Lower Moreland will take on Springfield on Monday night in a game that could be a preview for what they will face once the playoffs start at the end of the month.
