Downingtown West was a very tough and skilled opponent. They opened up the scoring in the first 8 minutes of the game and continued to get shots off in our circle. CB East’s goalie, Emily Bullard had an outstanding game, with 21 saves and Tara Harper added three defensive saves to keep the ball out of the net. CB East was able to get six penalty corners, but were not able to capitalize on these advantages. Downingtown West is currently ranked first in District I, and demonstrated great skill. Taylor Orsi and Romea Riccardo were talented and skilled senior athletes for Downingtown.
